This accolade is specifically established for the high-tech investment domain, recognising exceptional investors who have dedicated themselves over the past 2-3 years to niche sectors such as artificial intelligence and new energy. The award honours those who, through professional judgement, have unearthed innovative projects, empowered technological transformation within enterprises, fostered entrepreneurial ecosystems, and driven the advancement of global high-tech industries.

Selection Criteria

1.High-Tech Sector and Project Excavation:

Demonstrate forward-looking insights within the high-tech domain. Investment cases over the past 2-3 years should predominantly cover specialised high-tech sectors, with the ability to accurately identify projects possessing core technological barriers and high growth potential. Cases should exhibit outstanding technological innovation and commercialisation prospects.

2.Value Creation for High-Tech Enterprises:

Demonstrated understanding of the pain points faced by high-tech companies, with the ability to provide targeted support (e.g., technology matching, supply chain collaboration). Achieves quantifiable outcomes through post-investment management, driving technological breakthroughs or market expansion for portfolio companies.

3.Industry Reputation and Ecosystem Contribution:

Possesses a professional reputation within the high-tech investment community and actively participates in building the entrepreneurial ecosystem (e.g., mentorship, forums). Makes substantial contributions to technology commercialisation, enterprise incubation, or optimising the entrepreneurial environment.

  3. 3.Scanned copy of the business licence for the employing organisation;
  4. 4.List of representative personal investment cases with brief descriptions(see Appendix II, downloaded, completed and uploaded by the applicant);
  5. 5.Additional supporting materials beneficial to the assessment,such as evidence of portfolio company growth (e.g., subsequent financing valuations, key business metrics where publicly available), personal honours or awards (e.g., ‘Best Investor’), and proof of industry contributions (e.g., appointment letters as entrepreneurial mentors, photographs from significant forum presentations) (to be compiled and uploaded by the applicant);
