Dr. Jun Wu is a leading expert in speech recognition, natural language processing, and web search. He joined Google in 2002, where he co-founded the company’s search antitrust research effort and led multiple key projects. From 2010 to 2012, as Vice President at Tencent, he directed search, search ads, cloud computing, and mapping, growing these businesses sixfold during his tenure.

Dr. Wu serves on the Board of the Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins University and advises China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
